Who Will Be in the Rapture?

God Speaks to Pastor B.H. Clendennen
[Pastor Clendennen speaking:]
For many years, in the church I pastored, we had an all-night prayer meeting the last Friday night of every month.  One such Friday night, out of four-hundred members, there were forty-one of us present.  As I was praying, I heard this Word from the Lord: “You are looking at the Rapture from this church.”  That Word got my attention.  You are preaching to four-hundred people on a Sunday.  You’ve got forty people in a prayer meeting, and God says these forty people represent the Rapture!
I stopped short, and in my heart I said, “Do you mean if You came tonight this is all that would go?”
God said, “I mean, that if I cannot call a man to a prayer meeting, I could never call him to the Rapture.”
[End of Pastor Clendennen experience.]
====================================================
According to a message that was preached at Times Square Church by David Wilkerson and recorded in his newsletter of February 18, 2008, Only the Bride of Jesus Christ will go in the Rapture. All other Christians will be left behind.

David Wilkerson continues in his message as recorded in his newsletter in the third column on the last page:
“Let me ask you again: Are you ready?

Have you begun to love the thought of Christ’s appearing?  Paul says: ‘Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.’ (2nd Timothy 4:8, my italics.)

“James urges us likewise: ‘Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.’ (James 5:8)  ‘Unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.’ (Hebrews 9:28)”
“Finally, Paul writes, ‘For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority.’ (Titus 2:11-15)”
Pastor Wilkerson continues in the closing words of his message:
“I’ve got a crown waiting for me, because I love his appearing.  [Do you?]  I am ready.  Come, Lord Jesus.”
So, to repeat, according to a message that was preached at Times Square Church by David Wilkerson and recorded in his newsletter of February 18, 2008, Only the Bride of Jesus Christ will go in the Rapture.
All other Christians will be left behind.

Welcome to Christian Book Blurbs!

Welcome to Christian Book Blurbs, a place to share what  you think about your latest Christian book read (or writing), or other clean read.

In my research on marketing Christian books today, I came across a very interesting link - Books A Million has started a program for Indie Authors to help them not only publish their works, but get them into their brick and mortar buildings!  I think other book stores will eventually get up to speed and realize that Indie Authors are the future, and we will have more access to those shelves.

Feel free to submit blogs to me for publication here on your own or other's books. Please include a photo of the book cover, or of you signing or reading the book. Blogs should be 4-10 paragraphs long - tell us what is in the book, and what you liked or didn't like most about it. Email to me at texasauthor@gmail.com.

Until then - happy writing, all!
